Plot

On March 15, 1848, the revolutionary spirit ignites in Pest. At Café Pilvax, amidst the fervent youth, a secret informant for the imperial court lurks. As news of Jellasics's assault spreads, villagers flock to join the national army. Hajdú Gyurka seizes his chance to flee from his oppressive landlord. Meanwhile, the passionate poet Petőfi inspires the revolutionary camp, rallying the fighters with his stirring verses. The atmosphere is charged with hope and defiance as the people unite against tyranny.
