Plot

Set in London during 1892, a man known as Defendant 47 finds himself on trial, grappling with a fragmented memory of his identity. As he pieces together his past, he recalls being a mathematician who operated a photography studio, often capturing the innocence of children. This journey of remembrance leads him to Ellen Rhodes, a figure from his life whose presence ultimately heralds a sinister fate. As his memories unfold, the tension mounts, revealing how seemingly innocent connections can spiral into darkness.
