Plot
Young Alan Musgrave, incarcerated and reflecting on his tumultuous past year, recounts his obsessive devotion to the stunning yet narcissistic Barbara Ann Greene, a high school senior. As he succumbs to her every whim, Alan's journey reveals the absurd lengths to which he goes to please her, ultimately leading to chaotic and comedic situations. While navigating the trials of adolescence, he learns about love, sacrifice, and the consequences of putting someone else's desires above his own, all while maintaining a humorous perspective on the unpredictability of teenage life.
