Plot
In a sun-soaked coastal California town, lifelong friends Mac and Nick find themselves at odds with the law. Mac, a reformed drug dealer, seeks to turn his life around, while Nick, an ambitious detective, aims to dismantle the operation of a notorious Mexican drug lord named Carlos. Complications arise when Nick becomes romantically involved with Jo Ann, a restaurateur and Mac's former love interest. This unexpected affair threatens to unravel their friendship as Nick unknowingly places Mac in a precarious situation, manipulated by the very police efforts intended to bring down Carlos.
