Plot
An unsuspecting French businessman in Moscow, Pierre Froment, becomes embroiled in a monumental espionage operation during the Cold War, right after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. He forms an unexpected bond with Grigoriev, a disillusioned KGB officer who is increasingly dissatisfied with the current state of communism under Brezhnev. As their relationship deepens, Grigoriev begins to share critical intelligence about the Soviet spy apparatus in the United States, putting both their lives at risk in a high-stakes game of betrayal and survival. Tension mounts as Froment navigates this dangerous new reality.
