Plot

In 1886, young Harry, just 12 years old, has been captivated by magic for as long as he can remember. Unfortunately, the quaint village of Appleton, Wisconsin, isn’t the ideal place for his abilities to flourish. He practices tirelessly in his parents' barn but feels his dreams are out of reach. One day, he learns about a contest announced by the New York mayor to celebrate the opening of the Statue of Liberty. The catch? Contestants need to be mentored by a “real” magician, and Harry has no idea how to find one—until his father reveals that the legendary Tesla is in town. Recognizing Harry's raw talent and creativity, Tesla decides to mentor him, inviting him to his home alongside his niece Beth and his robot assistant, Amrold.
