Plot

Amos and Ben, both widowers, devise a clever scheme to bring together their children, Luisa and Matt. By feigning a rivalry, they hope to spark the teens' rebellion against their fathers' restrictions. As Luisa and Matt's romance blossoms amidst the deception, the fathers take their plan a step further, enlisting a traveling performer to stage an abduction.
