Plot
Ivan Skryabin, a war veteran haunted by his experiences in Afghanistan, finds solace in stoking a massive coal furnace. Amidst the heat and flames, he immerses himself in writing a historical novel. His adult daughter, Sasha, pays him a visit, bringing a touch of warmth to his solitary existence. Meanwhile, local children are drawn to the mesmerizing fire, while gangsters, including a former sergeant and a feared sniper named Bison, arrive to contribute their own sinister fuel to the blaze, intertwining Ivan's world with danger and intrigue.
