In the Park (1915)

Plot

A vagabond snatches a girl's handbag, but while attempting to pickpocket Charlie, he loses his cigarettes and matches. After defending a hot dog vendor from a bully, he inadvertently swipes some hot dogs with his cane. Meanwhile, the handbag travels through various hands before reaching its owner, who is furious with her boyfriend for failing to safeguard her. In a moment of despair, the boyfriend contemplates jumping into a lake, prompting Charlie to step in and offer assistance. The comedic chaos intertwines the lives of these characters in a bustling park setting.
