Plot

Radio correspondent Karel Beran is drawn back to Prague from the Middle East by an anonymous tip, only to find himself in the midst of a sudden revolution in Kambur. To maintain his professional integrity, he concocts live reports from his Vinohrady apartment, using everyday kitchen items to mimic the chaos outside. As Czech Radio prepares to dispatch a support team, Karel is faced with a daunting dilemma: confess his fabrications or orchestrate his own demise to preserve the ruse. Tension mounts as he grapples with the consequences of his choices.
