Bury the Past (2021)

Plot

Alice escapes her abusive marriage to a seemingly upstanding police officer, who turns out to be a violent monster. After killing him in self-defense, she goes into hiding, fearing that no one would believe her story. Years later, her late husband's former police partner finds her, demanding hush money to keep her secret. With her past threatening to resurface, Alice must confront her fears and decide how far she will go to protect herself and reclaim her life from the shadows of her former husband.
