Plot

"We Are As Gods" explores the visionary ideas of Stewart Brand, the influential figure behind the Whole Earth Catalog. Brand, a pioneer in psychedelics, technology, and environmentalism, challenges humanity to harness its god-like potential to transform our understanding of existence. In a bold endeavor, he collaborates with scientists to resurrect extinct species, including a hybrid Woolly Mammoth, by gathering ancient DNA in Siberia. However, his former allies in the environmental movement oppose his radical methods. Undeterred, Stewart presses on with his lifelong mission to protect and rejuvenate the planet.
