Plot

Laura's 18th birthday celebration takes a terrifying turn when she is bitten by a shark. Fortunately, Bruce, a dashing college student back in town, swoops in to save her, earning local acclaim for his courage. As Laura heals from her traumatic experience, Bruce's infatuation grows, and he seeks to be her comfort. However, Laura struggles to let go of her late boyfriend, who perished in the attack, complicating her feelings and leaving her torn between gratitude for Bruce and the memory of her lost love.
