Plot
Set against the backdrop of the 2016 Dakota Access Pipeline construction, which threatens the sacred land of the Standing Rock Indian Reservation, the story unfolds around Daniel, a journalist and Afghanistan War veteran, and Elliot, an executive from the oil company behind the project. As tensions escalate, their conflicting interests reveal deeper issues surrounding indigenous rights and environmental concerns. Through their encounters, the film explores the personal and ethical dilemmas faced by both men amid a historic struggle for justice and preservation of culture.
