Black Fly (2014)

Plot

Estranged brothers Jake (Dakota Daulby) and Noel (Matthew MacCaull) grapple with the shadows of their traumatic childhood. Following the tragic death of their father and their mother's suicide, the siblings have drifted apart. After fleeing from an abusive uncle, Jake seeks sanctuary with Noel and his girlfriend, Paula (Christie Burke), at their secluded family farmhouse on an island. While Jake hopes for healing and reconnection, the isolation may harbor darker secrets that threaten to unravel their fragile bond. As tensions rise, both brothers must confront their past to find a way forward.
