Plot

Emmett Murphy, a Civil War veteran portrayed by Shane Hagedorn, returns to his Michigan hometown seeking solace after the death of his wife. He honors a dying soldier's wish by inviting the soldier’s widow, Haddie (Lauren LaStrada), and her daughter to live with him and his son. However, the local community is unwelcoming, and a sinister plan to oust them unfolds. As Emmett grapples with prejudice and isolation, a circus train arrives in town, igniting a series of unforeseen events that could offer the support Emmett desperately needs to protect his new family.
