Even now, many enthusiasts continue to embrace his instant photography vision. Stephen Herchen, a former Polaroid employee, relocated to Europe to help develop Polaroid 2.0. Christopher Bonanos, author of Instant: The Story of Polaroid, recalls the heartbreak of learning the company would cease film production.
