Plot
In the 1948 adaptation of Oliver Twist, the story follows a young orphan named Oliver, who, at just nine years old, boldly requests more gruel from the harsh Mr. Bumble. This audacious act leads to him being sold as an apprentice. However, Oliver manages to escape and encounters the clever Artful Dodger, who introduces him to the cunning Fagin and his gang of thieves. When benevolent Mr. Brownlow takes Oliver into his home, the sinister Bill Sikes, Fagin's ruthless accomplice, devises a plan to abduct the innocent boy, plunging Oliver back into danger.
