Plot

After a humiliating performance, a disheartened Polish actor decides to leave his acting troupe. Seeking solace, he returns home, only to discover that his ailing mother has brought in a farmhand from a nearby mental institution to take his place. Overwhelmed by feelings of abandonment and despair, he becomes determined to reclaim his position in the family and drive out this unwelcome intruder. As he grapples with his identity and sense of belonging, the battle for his mother’s affection escalates, leading to unexpected revelations about love and acceptance.
