Plot

From 1955 to 1995, more than 70,000 West African children were placed with white British families in a practice known as "farming." Many of these individuals grappled silently with the lasting effects of this controversial policy. In a groundbreaking workshop retreat, nine of these individuals come together to share their stories under professional guidance. As they recount their childhood experiences, they confront the confusion and trauma of their upbringing. For many, this gathering offers a rare chance to bond with others who share their unique past.
