Plot

Bedivere, the roving knight, arrives at the conclusion of his quest in Jerusalem, A.D. 1273. The once-sacred Holy Land has devolved into a vast desert, with its inhabitants driven from their homes as three powerful factions battle for control. The Knights of the Round Table unite to defend the Holy City and their leader, the Lion King. Meanwhile, Ozymandias, the Sun King, subtly schemes against the oppressive forces in this strange land. The mountain tribes, guardians of the displaced, bide their time for a revolt. To complete his mission, Bedivere journeys to the Holy City, where he encounters Ritsuka Fujimaru, humanity's last Master, who has arrived with his Demi-Servant, Mash Kyrielight, to restore the course of human history.
