Plot

Nic, portrayed by Glenn Morshower, is a devoted father and husband whose idyllic life falls apart when his wife leaves him after they become empty nesters. Heartbroken yet determined to find joy again, he unexpectedly begins dating his best friend Pastor Kris's sister, played by Kevin Farley. This leads to a series of comedic mishaps. Amidst the chaos, Nic learns to embrace love, friendship, and the healing power of laughter, all while enjoying his cherished pastimes of fishing and bowling. Gary Valentine adds to the fun as Spike, Nic's high school rival.
