Plot

How do 1.1 billion people survive on less than one dollar daily? Four friends embark on a transformative journey to uncover this harsh reality. With nothing but a video camera and a limited budget of $56 for 56 days, they immerse themselves in rural Pena Blanca, Guatemala. Confronting challenges like E. coli and financial strain, they discover the complexities of poverty. However, the kindness and resilience of locals such as Rosa, Anthony, and Chino ignite their hope. Returning home forever changed, they are determined to inspire their peers to take action and create meaningful change.
