Plot

Kate, a single mother and rock star, is rebuilding her life after a nervous breakdown, while David, her psychiatrist-turned-boyfriend, tries to support her. When they move into an old Charleston mansion he purchased, unsettling occurrences begin to unfold. They stumble upon a hidden attic and a diary belonging to a former slave trader who haunts the house. As supernatural phenomena escalate, including a self-playing piano and ghostly visions, Kate's grip on reality falters, putting a strain on their relationship. She insists the horrors are real, but the question remains: can anyone believe her?
