Plot

Fatuma tirelessly manages her family’s welfare, cultivating her husband's land while ensuring they have food and care. With no gratitude for her efforts, she prepares her daughter to follow in her footsteps, emphasizing hard work over education. As pests threaten her crops, she secures a loan from the local women's Co-op to combat the problem. However, when Manyusi wastes their precious harvest and plots to marry off their daughter, Fatuma must rally the support of her co-op friends to restore balance and reclaim their future.
