Plot

On December 22, sixteen years after the revolution, a small town is gearing up for Christmas. Piscoci, a lonely retired man, braces for another holiday spent in solitude. Meanwhile, history teacher Manescu struggles with his mounting debts, while local TV station owner Jderescu appears indifferent to the festive season. The trio confronts a lingering question that has haunted them since the revolution: Did a true uprising happen in their town? Their quest for understanding forces them to reflect on the past and the impact it has on their present lives.
