Operating for over a decade on 12 miles of tribal land, the pipeline's easements have long expired, igniting a fierce battle for justice. Since 2019, the Band has been engaged in a protracted legal struggle against the Canadian company, highlighting the intersection of environmental protection and Indigenous rights.
