Lantern (1994)

Plot

After serving time, a former mob hitman starts anew with his wife by running a tea restaurant. While their daughter hides his shady past from friends due to embarrassment, their son looks up to it, leading him into conflict with a local gangster. When a brutal encounter sends the wife to the hospital, the hitman is compelled to revisit his violent history to safeguard his family. As he confronts the gangster, the struggle between his old life and his desire for a peaceful future intensifies, forcing him to make critical choices for his loved ones.
