The John Dalli Mystery (2017)

Plot

Mads Brügger and Mikael Bertelsen revisit their past failure to solve the 1993 murder of an EU official, aiming for redemption. Their investigation leads them to John Dalli, the former EU Health Commissioner dismissed amid allegations of collusion with the tobacco industry. Traveling to Malta, they find Dalli surprisingly charming. As the duo delves deeper, they stumble upon a vast conspiracy against him. Tensions rise when a mysterious informant reaches out, claiming to hold explosive evidence, including documents and recordings detailing a plot to assassinate Dalli.
