Mécanix (2003)

Plot

In a haunting fairytale set in a bizarre, dystopian realm, the last remnants of humanity live as slaves to monstrous creatures. Mecanix follows their desperate struggle for freedom, as they seek to escape the oppressive mechanical world. The only thing that terrifies their captors is the embryo of the universe, the source of all creation, concealed within the last freeborn man. A scientist, driven by the beasts’ fear, plans to vivisect every human to eradicate this embryo and secure their dominance. Hope hangs by a thread as the humans fight against time and their grotesque overlords.
