The Rough House (1917)

Plot

Mr. Rough's blissful newlywed life quickly spirals into chaos when he accidentally sets the bedroom ablaze, much to the dismay of his mother-in-law. Meanwhile, the household cook pursues the maid, who is infatuated with the handsome delivery boy. As tensions rise, Mr. Rough unwittingly finds himself in the kitchen, attempting to impress a couple of deceitful guests. Unbeknownst to him, Mrs. Rough may have insight into their true motives. With a disastrous dinner party on the horizon, the Rough house is set for an evening of unexpected twists and comedic calamity.
