Plot

In the quest for gold and romance in Colorado Territory, Alferd Packer and his quirky band of friends become hopelessly lost. Faced with hunger and a series of bizarre challenges, including a relentless Confederate cyclops, a group of grumpy trappers, and a tribe of Japanese-speaking "Indians," they find themselves turning to song for solace and camaraderie. As their situation grows increasingly dire, the group's interactions and musical performances reveal both their desperation and humor, ultimately leading them to confront the darkest aspects of their journey—each other.
