Plot

Kleptomaniac Dorothy Lyons is released on parole and placed under the care of her sister June, who works as a secretary for ambitious politician Frank Jansen. Meanwhile, Ben Grace, a henchman for crime lord Sol "Solly" Caspar, plans to exploit Dorothy to tarnish Jansen's reputation.
