Plot

Facing marital troubles, a discontented woman seeks revenge by indulging in a one-night affair. She purchases every balloon from a street vendor and releases them into the Paris night, each carrying the message, "I will be alone after midnight." As the colorful balloons float through the sky, a parade of suitors, including a fisherman, soldier, traveler, and a charming thief reminiscent of Arsène Lupin, converge on her rendezvous. This unexpected attention leaves Michel, a young man secretly in love with her, feeling frustrated and heartbroken.
