Plot
Struggling with financial woes, farmer John Rollins faces a crumbling marriage and a failing corn crop, plagued by crows and irrigation issues. His situation worsens as the bank threatens to foreclose. When he stumbles upon a sinister scarecrow hidden in his barn, his son Michael urges him to destroy it. However, influenced by his neighbor Jude, John places the scarecrow in the field, and soon, miraculous changes occur: the crows disappear, the water pump works, and the banker dies. Yet, with these gains come dark, malevolent forces threatening his family's safety.
