Plot

Widowed reporter Rebecca Scott teams up with FBI Agent John Nelson to unravel the secrets surrounding her late husband, Miles. After Miles' informant is kidnapped and killed, leaving only a severed finger behind, Nelson tracks down Rebecca in New York to reveal that Miles had been murdered. Together, they travel to Australia’s Gold Coast, where they uncover Miles’ involvement in a massive Ponzi scheme that defrauded a powerful billionaire.
