Some Beasts (2020)

Plot

A family embarks on a trip to a secluded island in southern Chile, aiming to persuade the grandparents to invest in a hotel project. However, their plans unravel when Nicolás, a man connected to their venture, mysteriously vanishes. Stranded without basic necessities like food and water, the family's cheerful facade crumbles, revealing simmering tensions and unresolved issues among them. As they confront their fears and insecurities, the island becomes a backdrop for their emotional unraveling, forcing each member to confront the fragility of their relationships.
