Plot

Set against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict in Crimea, Jeanne faces a harrowing revelation when her beloved Andreas, a Bolshevik, kills her father. Left destitute, she returns to Paris and finds work with her uncle. Meanwhile, Andreas arrives in France to rally sailors in Toulon. Complicating matters is Khalibiev, a cunning thief and libertine determined to woo Jeanne. As his manipulative tactics clash with the couple's innocence, a missing diamond and escalating tensions threaten to plunge their romance into despair.
