Mother Lode (1982)

Plot

A pair of adventurous souls venture into the rugged wilderness of British Columbia to locate a missing friend. Their quest takes a perilous turn when their plane crashes, leaving them stranded. They soon encounter a deranged old Scottish miner, who has spent decades in solitude hunting for a hidden stash of gold. Obsessed and desperate, he will stop at nothing—potentially even resorting to murder—to protect his treasure. As tensions rise, the adventurers must navigate not only the treacherous landscape but also the unpredictable danger posed by the miner.
