Plot

Muzafar Ali, a former Afghan refugee turned photographer, embarks on a personal quest to explore his Afghan-Australian identity after uncovering the rich history of Afghans in Australia spanning over 160 years. Through his lens, he captures the stories of the Cameleer Descendants, a diverse blend of Aboriginal, Afghan, and Colonial Australian heritage. As he connects with this resilient yet traumatized community, he delves into Australia’s complex past. However, his journey takes a dramatic turn when the Taliban regains control of Afghanistan, prompting him to urgently assist friends and colleagues left in peril.
