In 2nd Century Smyrna, a young slave named Anna finds refuge and a new life with a group of Christians, led by the wise Bishop Polycarp. As she learns from him and her newfound family, Anna grapples with her beliefs and the Christian faith. When the Roman proconsul orders citizens to worship Caesar, Polycarp and the Christians face increasing persecution. Anna must confront her own convictions and make a pivotal choice about who she will stand by, even at the cost of her life. Courage and faith intertwine as their community fights for their beliefs.
