Plot
A mysterious killer with black gloves strikes at an exclusive finishing school, starting with a woman strangled in her bath and her body hidden in a trunk. When Betty-Anne, a student, meets a similar fate in the school’s cellar, Inspector Durand steps in to unravel the mystery. Among the suspects are the peeping gardener La Floret, new swimming instructor Di Brazzi, summer French teacher Mrs. Clay, an eccentric bird-collecting professor, and the unfaithful Richard. As the body count rises, amateur sleuth Jill works alongside the police to uncover the unexpected murderer.
