Plot
The story follows the life of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, the renowned French artist who thrived in the vibrant cultural scene of late 1800s Montmartre, Paris. Struggling with congenital health issues linked to inbreeding, he embraced the bohemian lifestyle, capturing its essence through his art. Lautrec gained fame by creating a series of posters for the debut of the Moulin Rouge cabaret. His personal battles with alcoholism and absinthe addiction are intertwined with his passionate romance with fellow painter Suzanne Valadon, highlighting the tumultuous yet inspiring spirit of the era.
