Plot

April 1992 sees a sprawling family converging on the deathbed of their ailing matriarch in the former Yugoslavia. The family doctor’s prediction of her imminent demise proves overly optimistic, leading to a prolonged vigil that stretches into days. As tensions rise, relatives engage in petty squabbles and cunning tactics over the inheritance, particularly the family's cherished home in Sarajevo. Surprisingly, Grandma’s spirit remains vibrant amidst the turmoil, seemingly fueled by the chaos around her. However, as their infighting escalates, an impending war looms, and the family's internal conflicts overshadow the real threat of catastrophe.
