Plot
On January 31, 1968, a group of 31 North Korean commandos attempted to assassinate South Korean President Park Chung-hee, but the mission failed. In retaliation, the South Korean military recruited 31 convicts on Silmido Island, training them for a suicide mission to eliminate Kim Il-sung and restore their honor. However, the mission was abruptly called off, leaving the team feeling betrayed and angry. This gripping narrative draws inspiration from a military uprising in the 1970s, exploring themes of loyalty, betrayal, and the consequences of political strife.
