Where To? (1957)

Plot

In a humble village nestled in the Lebanese mountains, a family struggles to make ends meet. The father decides to leave them behind, seeking a better life in Brazil, a land often viewed as a paradise by many of his fellow countrymen. Two decades later, the mother has persevered through hardships, raising her children alone; the eldest has started a family of his own, while the youngest is preparing to embark on a journey to Brazil. One day, an unkempt old man appears in the village, stirring memories and questions of the past.
