Plot

Zahara, a stateless refugee residing on a secluded Malaysian island, survives by selling turtle eggs. Her routine is disrupted when Samad, who presents himself as a university researcher, arrives seeking her assistance to explore the island. As their day unfolds, a tense web of lies and hidden motives develops, leading Zahara and Samad into a perilous game of manipulation and trust. What starts as a simple guide-and-researcher relationship quickly spirals into a complex encounter fraught with danger and moral ambiguity.
