Plot

Lucky Luciano rises to power as a dominant figure in the Mafia, orchestrating the elimination of 40 rivals to solidify his control. However, his reign is interrupted when he is imprisoned. After serving time, he receives a pardon in 1946 and returns to Sicily, where he reestablishes himself as a leading Mafia chief. Surprisingly, the US Army appears to turn a blind eye to his activities, allowing Luciano to rebuild his criminal empire with minimal interference.
