Plot
A new doctor takes up residence in a remote Spanish village, quickly sensing the odd dynamics among the locals. The youth mock him, while Gonzalo, a domineering figure, discourages any inquiries about their unsettling behavior. Despite the hostility, the doctor forms a genuine bond with his charming neighbor, a young teacher, which blossoms into romance. However, Gonzalo's obsession with the teacher leads to violent confrontations. The doctor eventually uncovers the village's dark past, linked to a tragic incident involving drug addicts that claimed Gonzalo's son, igniting a vengeful crusade against addiction.
