Plot

After a stolen white stallion breaks free from his captors, young Stephanie Ward rescues him, naming him Lightning. As she prepares him for an upcoming show-jumping competition, they develop a deep and enduring friendship. However, when Stephanie faces the prospect of an expensive medical procedure and Lightning’s original owner reappears, she places all her dreams on winning first prize at the Nationals.
